

The mission of ECS is to change the culture of youth sports and adult recreation. More specifically, we strive to change the win-at-all-costs, negative youth sports environment to a healthier, more positive environment through a focus on teaching, coaching, and learning. The goal is to promote a healthful lifestyle for all our participants!
Essex County Sports (ECS) seeks to provide a safe and fun environment for all children who participate in our programs and events. The goal of the following policies are to protect children from incidents of misconduct or inappropriate behavior. We also want to ensure that our staff and any worker associated with ECS is equipped with the most knowledge. Adherence to these policies can be a safeguard against the highly unlikely event of a false allegation.
Two-Deep Leadership and Physical Contact
At no time should Essex County Sports workers be in a situation where they are alone with a child or children and cannot be observed by others. If a worker becomes alone with a child, he or she should promptly move to a location where he or she can be observed by other adults. ECS mandates 2 deep leadership at all times, meaning at least 2 adults should always be present with minor participants.
Physical contact with participants should be limited. Physical contact is appropriate when used for skill development, is required for the safety of the child, is for the childโs benefit (non-intrusive congratulatory or comforting gestures), and occurs in an open environment. It is inappropriate if it involves touching the groin, genital area, buttocks, breasts, or any other area that might cause embarrassment or discomfort, if it frightens, distresses or embarrasses the child, or if it occurs in a private location.
Mandatory Reporting
Under federal law, all adults who work with minor athletes are mandated to report suspicion of child physical abuse or sexual abuse within 24 hours to the jurisdiction having authority. Workers must also report to Essex County Sports Human Resource Department within the same timeframe.
The responsibility of mandatory reporters is to notify the appropriate agencies when abuse is suspected. It is not the role of the reporting parties to evaluate the credibility or validity of the suspicion. Workers should also consider this information confidential and should not share with other workers, children, or parents/family members.
In addition to suspicions of abuse, any witnessed policy violation by a fellow worker, should be reported to Essex County Sports Human Resources.
Retaliation or job repercussions as a result of reporting allegations of abuse in good faith are prohibited by Federal law.

Workers will not buy gifts or give money to players.
Workers will avoid fraternization with players in nonยญ-sanctioned settings.
Profanity, racial or ethnic slurs, or any derogatory language is not allowed. Workers should speak positively to and in front of participants.
Player and parent personal information including phone number, email, home address, etc. will not be disseminated without prior consent from said player or parent.
We, Essex County Sports, explain in this policy how we collect, process, use, share, and secure the information that we receive from users via our websites, mobile apps, and over email (together, the โESSEX COUNTY SPORTS Servicesโ). This policy also explains your choices regarding the use of, access to, and correction of your personal information.
We ensure our clients that we take the securest measures possible to protect sensitive information. Any personal information that you share with us, like your name, date of birth, address, marital status, telephone number, credit card particulars and the like, shall be entitled to privacy and kept confidential.
Your personal information shall not be permitted to be used/disclosed, save for the purpose of doing the intended business with you, or if required to be disclosed under the due process of law. We respect your right to privacy.
Training Services
All sales are final. Once a purchase is made, no refunds or exchanges will be provided except in cases where the product or service is defective or not as described.

Exchanges & Store Credit
After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of your item, we will process your store credit or exchange. Please allow at least 14 days days from the receipt of your item to process your store credit or exchange. We will notify you by email when your store credit has been processed.

We will not charge from your credit card unless authorization is given. A one rupee transaction will conducted to check the authenticity of your card โ which then will be refunded immediately. It will reflect on your bank statement.
Your appointments and well-being are very important to us. We understand that sometimes, unexpected delays can occur, making schedule adjustments. If you need to cancel your appointment, we respectfully request at least 24 hour notice.
Missed Appointments
Our goal is to provide quality health care to all our clients in a timely manner. No-shows, late arrivals, and cancellations inconvenience not only our trainers, but our other clients as well. Please be aware of our policy regarding missed appointments.
Appointment Cancellation
When you book your appointment, you are holding a space on our calendar that is no longer available to our other clients. In order to be respectful of your fellow athletes, please call our office as soon as you know you will not be able to make your appointment.
If cancellation is necessary, we require that you call at least 24 hours in advance. Appointments are in high demand, and your advanced notice will allow another client access to that appointment time. To cancel your appointment please do so by accessing your online member portal where you are able to cancel and reschedule your appointment.
Any other questions give us a call at (856) 367-1537 during office hours. If necessary, you may leave a detailed voicemail message. We will return your call as soon as possible.
Late Cancellations & No-Shows
A cancellation is considered late when the appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours before the appointed time. A no-show is when a client misses an appointment without cancelling.
In either case, we will charge the client a $25 missed appointment fee. For new clientsโ first appointments, a no show or late cancellation will result in a full charge of the new client fee.
After completing registration, customers will be asked to place a card on file for future purchases. Our payment processing and internet security is SSL secured.

It is unlikely that we will change or cancel your booking once it is confirmed. If we do make changes then we will inform you as soon as we reasonably can. Sometimes an unintentional mistake of publishing inaccurate information on the site may occur (e.g. the price, description or availability). In such rare instance we reserve the right to modify/cancel your booking at any time up to the point of travel, even if you have received confirmation from us, and you will receive a full refund of advance already paid. No further compensation will be payable in such event.

We reserve the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests on walk-in basis. The same shall also be applicable in case incorrect information is provided in the reservation form.
